The contents of my eyeluggage

i've spent the past couple of nights growing my eyebags to an unhealthy size. thought i'd share a few of the things that contributed to their stupendous growth.

rain rain go away
yes, i know, the name of the country should be INSIDE the stamp.
i was too sleepy to hit upon this little detail.

experimenting with metallic type
(as opposed to just slapping on the metallic gradients)

and a couple of experiments with the digital equivalent of a photography trick
called "light painting". yes i'm very vain and have lots of pictures of myself.
(fyi, i like the last one best.)

and of course, the requisite eradication of pimples and whatnot.
if nature can't give me good skin, i guess photoshop will :-)

most of this stuff are (or was built on) techniques from a nifty little pdf that came along with the adobe photoshop cs installer. there are a lot of other experiments that i discarded because they looked like total crap, but it's all good since i'm learning a lot of things along the way.

one of the most important things i'm learning is patience -- things take so goddamn long when you don't want them to look like you just slapped a filter on them. and of course, that it's fun to experiment. there are so many different combinations to try, and a single digit can make such a difference in executing something. still got a long way to go till i become a rina or lala though :-)

now to find a way to click a couple of inches off my waistline...
