Stuff I need

1) good pants for work. something that can be worn with both decent office blouses and my growing pile of quirky shirts. something tweedy perhaps? no more el cheapo pairs from Landmark or wherever.

2) sensible but non-frumpy heels. preferably camel, white or brightly colored. again, no more el cheapo pairs from Landmark or wherever. this time it's for keeps.

3) rubber shoes. RIP my beautiful black nameless rubber shoes from Koln, which I bought three years ago with pia (our first bonding moment). waaah.

4) a phone. waaah.

5) crates. yeah, those things fruits are shipped in. i have long ago decided that this is the ideal, and cheapest, form of storage for my junk. those giant tupperware drawers are a major no-no.

6) a 20-watt bulb for my night light.

7) christmas cards. i want something with filipino paintings on it. go figure. oooh, i can go christmas shopping on monday. no work, lalalalalala.

anyone know where i can get any of these? the 20-watt bulb is a no-brainer, so i'm not accepting any answers for that.

p.s. i have resolved to put off personal shopping unti post-christmas sale season in january. i got two-for-one levi's during that same period two years ago.

  1. i have done a few shopping myself - i couldn't do shopping after i gave birth since hey, preggy flabs don't just disappear and come off with the baby!

anyway.. shoes? i bought some nice and non-frumpy heeled shoes from Mendrez just a few weeks ago.. not that expensive but nice. i can't afford the expensive ones at least not yet.. and as for the pants -- i realized that too.. don't but cheap ones or non-branded ones unless tried and tested.. it gets a lot more costly in the long run -- any local shop would have good pants -- Kamiset and Bench might have what you're looking for. :)

oh oh oh.. you know my mom gets these christmas cards every year painted by pinoy handicapped painters -- as in painted with their feet or mouth!

pretty cool, but she gets them because she donates to their charity or something. :) they're nice :)
