there's nothing like a round of beers and some very dear college friends (your rumored lesbian lover and shared manwhore, respectively) to remind you why things turned out the way they did. for better or for worse.
and to make you realize that some things will simply compel you to roll out the welcome mat, even if you fully intended not to...
... and that being able to work until 1030pm, drink until 430am, wake up for work at 730am and arrive one hour before the official punch-in (with alcohol still percolating in your system) makes you really glad to be in your twenties.
