Work in progress

page 1 of 2 of my collage for kooky's book, and the product of at least two sleepless nights. i'm about 70 percent done with the whole thing, and i hope to wrap everything up by tomorrow. just have to hunt for the last few words of the "ransom note" text and do a little painting.

so far i must say this has been one of the most well-planned collages i've done. i usually don't like taking more than an hour to do most of my artworks, but i guess i'm being more praning about this one because it's not just for me. the last time i did something over a span of several days was my second anniversary gift for marlon, and that was a whole book full of collages.

for some weird reason, i can't figure out what to say about myself in the short bio that i have to provide for the book.

major triumph. my mom has finally, finally agreed to give away one of the dogs to an officemate of my sister without putting up much of a fight. (she's put up more than enough pre-fight, though.)

so it's sayonara to snoopy today. he's the least cute dog that we have. and i've already caught him trying to hump his baby sister, maya. (bad dog!) as if we need another canine teenage pregnancy in this house.
